History
Blackmon Contracting, specialists in commercial and industrial painting, boasts a long history of providing painting services to a wide range of business organizations in Houston and across the nation. Currently owned and operated by Charley Blackmon, the company was started in 1964 by Charley’s father, painting auto dealerships and industrial storage tanks.
In 1992, Charley began what is today known as Blackmon Contracting and followed in his father’s footsteps offering contract painting services to industrial customers. Today, Blackmon Contracting is a full-service painting and refurbishing company that offers painting, tank linings, exteriors, and bulk storage tanks. The company also services and paints light poles, city light poles, and interior and exterior commercial buildings along with striping for parking lots, epoxy coatings for floors, and tank maintenance field services. They have painted and worked with hundreds of car dealerships in Texas alone.
